Visiting Yellowstone Part 2

It’s the first full day of the trip, and we’re off to the Grizzle and Wolf Discovery Center for a guaranteed view of Grizzle beras and Grey Wolves. The bears at the Discovery Center are in danger because they are too comfortable around people. Bears like that are sometimes put down, and bringing them to the discovery center is a great solution to the problem of bears seeking out humans for food.

The big draw for me was the wolves, being able to view them up close and around feeding time. I can see what we kept when we domesticated wolves into dogs. I can see pet cats in lions, tigers, jaguars, and cheetahs, and now I can see dogs in the wolves.

Who hasn’t seen a dog make that face!!

The cutest animals were the ground squirrels, adorable, but they bite.

This is a baby ground squirrel, so the cutest of cute.

They also had otters, birds, and local Yellowstone fish.

Next to the center is an IMAX thearter with a movie about Yellowstone National Park, so 30 min sit down after walking around the center.
