Golden Sand Dunes

Another shot from White Sands National Park in New Mexico,  the sky was overcast this day so it took some photo editing to get the sky to look like that. The sand in White Sands isn’t sand, it gypsum crystals, but I guess White Gypsum Crystals National Park doesn’t roll off the tongue.  It feels different than sand it like wet sand but it doesn’t cling like wet sand does, the moisture is what keeps it from blowing away in the wind.  I did see people sledding down the dunes, I got to try that when I go back.

The Thumbnail photo is a low-quality photo with watermarks, the downloaded file will not have a watermark and will be a larger JPED file. Please note the Copy Right remains with me, downloading doesn’t give your permission to resale or distribute the photo.

White Sands National Park in New Mexico, the file is too big to load so when you purchase I will send it via email.
