Another shot from White Sands National Park in New Mexico, the sky was overcast this day so it took some photo editing to get the sky to look like that. The sand in White Sands isn’t sand, it gypsum crystals, but I guess White Gypsum Crystals National Park doesn’t roll off the tongue. It feels different than sand it like wet sand but it doesn’t cling like wet sand does, the moisture is what keeps it from blowing away in the wind. I did see people sledding down the dunes, I got to try that when I go back.
