Red Door

$5.00

When I saw this all I could think is, I see a red door and I want to paint it black.  This is the Bayeux Cathedral in the city of Bayeux (shocker) France,  it’s in the Normandy part of France and holds the Bayeux Tapestry (it’s not a Tapestry it’s an embroidered piece of cloth) which depicts the invasion and conquest of William Duke of Normday AKA William the conquer King of England.  His half-brother, Odo, was the Bishop of the Bayeux Cathedral and is thought to be the person who commissioned the Tapestry.  I have no clue why the Door is painted deep red, google says it’s might be a representation of the blood of Christ.
